Charity Gift Bag

Overview
For this project, the objective was to design a gift bag for a charity of my choosing. I chose an animal shelter and decided to design my bag based on animal adoption. I wanted a playful color palette to reflect that and designed a gift bag using both Illustrator and Indesign.
Design Process
I first thought about the message I wanted to convey with this bag. I wanted the motto of this false charity to be playful and legible. I hand lettered the words then image traced in Illustrator, in illustrator as well I designed the paw-print symbols and created a pattern to be used on the sides of the gift bag. All elements of the bag were illustrated by me before moving on to the structure of the bag in InDesign.
In InDesign, I used a template to map the shape of the bag accordingly and adjusted the colors as needed when printing. When finished, I photographed my bag to be displayed.
